Food for the skin -- Broccoli
Artist Carl Warner, 44, combines several images to create the amazing scenes, including a broccoli forest, bread mountains, cheese village and smoked salmon sea.
Special thanks to CozyCot and Biotherm Singapore for organising this Biotherm event. From Biotherm's brand manager, Grace, we learnt alot about the Biotherm Skin.ergetic Serum and understand the reason why it enjoys rave reviews from its its customers ever since its launch here in 26th August 2011.
Good skin is the best canvas that any makeup can work with, so it is of importance to invest in a good skincare product that nourishes your skin.
The demands of a modern lifestyle can lead to fatigue, which becomes visible on the skin from stress, unbalanced diet, smoking, pollution, etc. The skin's natural defenses become weakened and signs of fatigue begin to set in, such as dullness, more visible pores, less refined skin texture and dryness... etc... Biotherm Skin.Ergetic Anti-Fatigue Concentrate Serum, enriched in broccoli extract, provides tireless looking skin, day after day.
Skin looks smoother, plumped with moisture and radiant.
Biotherm Skin.Ergetic is 99% natural, and contains broccoli and soy extract. It is also paraben free and mineral oil free.
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Broccoli is a plant in the cabbage family, whose large flower head is used as a vegetable.
The word broccoli refers to "the flowering top of a cabbage".
Broccoli is classified in the Italica cultivar group of the species Brassica oleracea. Broccoli has large flower heads, usually green in color, arranged in a tree-like fashion on branches sprouting from a thick, edible stalk. The mass of flower heads is surrounded by leaves. Broccoli most closely resembles cauliflower, which is a different cultivar group of the same species.
History
Broccoli evolved from a wild cabbage plant on the continent of Europe. Indications point to the vegetable's being known 2,000 years ago. Since the Roman Empire, broccoli has been considered a uniquely valuable food among Italians. Broccoli was grown at Antwerp whence it was taken to England by the sculptor Peter Scheemakers, according to a biographical note by J. T. Smith. Broccoli was first introduced to the United States by Italian immigrants but did not become widely known until the 1920s.

In just one click, the capsule releases the concentrated broccoli extract powder into the green bottle. From this moment onwards, the serum will be at it’s optimum level for the first 3 months. After that, the broccoli extract would lose it’s efficiency, and the serum would just become a moisturiser (can still be used!) without the magic of the active ingredient. You can write the opening date on the bottle label at the space provided. As the bottle is quite big, I would recommend using it both day and night if one hopes to finish the bottle within 3 months..
How to activate :
1. click 2. shake 3. apply
In an apple experiment, the part of the apple that was covered with this serum did not turn brown. This means it can counter oxidation and free radicals. Just imagine what wonders it can do to the skin..!
My thoughts?
I like the light yet hydrating texture of this serum, and how it is absorbed within minutes. The fresh fruity scent is very pleasing. I find that makeup glides effortlessly after applying this serum in the morning.
The pretty plant given to us has been flourishing and flourishing non-stop ever since that day, and it is now too big for the pot that comes with it :) Amazing...! Does its fertiliser contain broccoli extract??
Anti-Fatigue tip :
Apply Skin Ergetic Serum every morning and evening under the moisturizer for a radiance boost to the skin.
